User Studies help us as designers understand the user/consumer base, which helps us by providing feedback. This is necessary as it helps to build solid primary research. Here are some of the methods:

  • User Interviews
  • Contextual Inquiry and Observations
  • Rapid Assesment Process
  • Stakeholder Interviews
  • Focus Groups (Average Users, Provide Essential Feedback)
  • Online Questionnaires and Surveys
  • Ethnographic Research (Cultural & Community Research)
  • Literature reviews and Case studies
  • Competitive Product Analysis (Understanding Other Products)
