There are several categories of user experience goals, here are some of them:
User Studies help us as designers understand the user/consumer base, which helps us by providing feedback. This is necessary as it helps to build solid primary research. Here are some of the methods:
“User Experience encompasses all aspects of the end-users interaction with the company and its services and its products”-Don Norman
User Environment is the surrounding environment of one or many users that live in. The environment of the user can change due to many factors such as economic background, socio-cultural constraints, age, work environment, etc. It's essential to understand and document the “user environment” as later on, it helps to achieve the targeted goal for the targeted audience. Some of the points to keep in mind while researching on user environment are:
User Behaviour is the psyche of a single user or multiple users. User behaviour helps us to understand the various thought processes that run…
The term UI usually is a shorthand annotation for “User Experience” design. From a designer's perspective, UI is the layout for an interactive medium, some examples of UI are social media applications, all the webpages, video game menu, and so on. The end goal from the designer’s end to make sure that the interface of the medium is easy to interpret and also has a small learning curve for any sort of user. The duty of a UI doesn’t end there, this can extend to choosing color schemes/palettes, using various different fonts and icons. …
This is part two to “Getting Familiar With the Kit” where we learn about the different parts in the Electronics and Arduino Kit. Today we focused on what is Arduino and its basics.
Introduction to Arduino Uno Board:
Arduino Uno is an open-sourced platform that is used for building electronic projects. The board consists of both a physical board and a programmable software that runs through a computer/laptop. You can write the code through the Arduino software and upload it to the board.
This makes the entire process of writing a code and using the board easier for designers.
After unpacking the kit we got introduced to the different parts/items inside the kit.
What is Breadboard?
So the breadboard is a construction base for prototyping of electronics, originally the breadboard word was referred to as a literal piece of breadboard a polished piece of wood for slicing bread. In the 1970s the solderless breadboard became widely available.
Types of Wires:
A Battery is an electrical component that converts chemical energy into electrical energy that can be further used by a device to power itself.
There are mainly two types of batteries rechargeable and single-use batteries they can be further subdivided into multiple types of batteries that are used in the industry. Some of the examples of a battery are AA, AAA, AAAA, lead-acid batteries, and li-ion batteries.
Alkaline Batteries are batteries that can carry only one charge i.e the battery can be used only once as primary batteries. Due to the small size, they are more compatible and easy to…
Technology: In small words, technology is a form of art that combines both using scientific skills as well as the knowledge to accomplish a motive to make the users approach better and easier at the same time.
What are electronics?
Electronics is the study of the flow of electrons in electronic circuits. By studying, I mean design and analysis.
Electrons, Protons and Neutrons:
“Electrons” are negatively charged particles of an atom.
“Protons” are positively charged particles of an atom.
& “Neutrons” carry a neutral charge i.e that all that they are neither positive in charge or negative.
